Raise your hand if you’ve ever been victimized by negative feedback.

Hey law firm associates!

How do you feel about getting feedback that isn’t glowing? If you’re anything like I was, you really really don’t love it.

Our brains just love to replay that one criticism on a never-ending loop, while the compliments somehow fade into oblivion after we immediately discount them. That’s just your default wiring. We all have a negativity bias. And while I have zero evidence to back it up, I’d put money on lawyer brains having a stronger negativity bias than the average brain.

I get it. I’ve been there. But you can learn to handle all feedback in a way that feels positive. So let’s talk about getting negative feedback and what to do with it. It’s going to be so fetch.

Getting and Managing Feedback

Tuesday May 14 at 1pm EST

I’m going to teach you how to get more feedback than you’re currently getting (and why you really do want more feedback), how to need less feedback (since you can’t make other people do what you want), and what to do with that feedback that isn’t positive (so you can stop spinning out about it). Register to attend or to get the replay:
